                                                                 PROPER DANCEWEAR

Proper dancewear includes leotards and tights.  Shorts and big shirts are absolutely not allowed.  Hair, if long, must be put
up in bun or ponytail.   Make sure taps have elastic, not ribbon.   Tie ballet shoe strings in a knot and cut them short....NO
BOWS.  Taps may be tan or black, unless specified by teacher.  Jazz shoes are required for jazz and may be tan or black...
slip on preferred.   Hip  Hop  students may wear  loose clothes and athletic shoes.  Students not properly dressed will be
asked to sit.  Seven yrs. and older wear black leotards and pink tights for tap and ballet class,  unless otherwise specified
by teacher.
                                              HOLIDAYS AND MISSED LESSONS

We observe Thanksgiving, Christmas, Mardi Gras, and Easter/Spring Break with O.S. Schools.  Please check with the
teacher about other holidays.  We WILL have dance on teacher workshop days.  Holiday lessons are usually made up by
there being 5 lessons some months.   NOTE: we charge by the MONTH,  NOT THE LESSON.  Full tuition must be paid even
when a child misses several lessons.
                                                                                              TUITION

TUITION IS DUE BY THE 10TH OF EACH MONTH!!  Please make checks payable to DONNA'S.  If you send cash, please put it
in an envelope with CHILD'S NAME.  Please put your child's name on all checks also.  There is a $10 chanrge for NSF
checks.  Please pay promptly, there will be a $10 LATE FEE for tuition received more than 30 days after the 10th.  THANKS!!
                                                                             RECITAL AND COSTUMES

REHEARSAL will be the last week of May.  RECITALS: May ....  Most costumes will be ordered and ready made.   Dancers will
be measured in December for costumes.  There cost will be about $65-85 per costume. These will be ordered over Christmas
Break,  because it takes from 12-16 weeks for the costumes to come in.   A $50 DEPOSIT per COSTUME  (2  total  for  tap  and
ballet classes) must be in to us by Dec 15 BEFORE BREAK or your costumes will NOT BE ORDERED.  You may begin paying
for your costume deposits in Sept, if you like...ex. $20/mo.  so that your deposit will be paid by Dec.   This will keep you from
having that extra expense around Christmas. Costume deposits become non-refundable after Dec. 15.  You'll receive another
note about costumes in Nov.  In March, A $85 RECITAL FEE FOR EACH CHILD will be due. NOTE, EACH CHILD HAS PRACTICE
TIME ON STAGE,  LIGHTING AND A RECITAL,  SO EACH CHILD PAYS A RECITAL FEE.   Costumes do not always fit perfectly,
they are ordered to fit for a one time performance.  If alterations must be made, this will be the expense and responsibility of
the parent.  John Bright photo will be at the studio to take individual pictures in costumes the last TWO weekends of April and
the FIRST weekend of May.  Class pictures will be taken in April.  Come in and Ask Questions.... Kathie is always available to
help you!

Clothes left at the studio will be taken to the Thrift Store twice during the year if we can't find a name.  Please put your child's
name in ALL their shoes.
